The “Patient Protection” Part of the Act


While we’ve spent much of the last six years criticizing the Affordable Care Act, the law does do some good things. In this two-hour ethics course, we’ll examine the ways the health reform law has helped individuals, employers, and Medicare beneficiaries.

Note: About an hour-and-a-half into the presentation, GoToWebinar kicked me out of the presentation. I was able to return to complete the class, but that final 20 minutes are not included in the recording. My apologies. You can see what you missed by reviewing the slides. The main portion that’s missing relates to modified adjusted community rating, Medicaid, and Medicare. -Eric
