In mid-April, we presented a three-hour session entitled “AI for Health Insurance Agents – Opportunities and Threats.” It was well attended and received good reviews. But there’s more to learn, so we’re offering a “Part 2” session on Thursday, May 18 from 10:30 am to 12 pm. We hope that you can join us. (This session does not provide CE credit.)
Aside from a short refresher, this course will not contain an overview of AI, terminology, opportunities, threats, etc. All of that was covered in the first session. If you were unable to attend the AI Part 1 class, you will have an opportunity to purchase it when signing up for this class if you’d like. Alternatively, I will send a short video that you can watch before attending this session so you can get up to speed.
Our AI Part 2 Class will include:
- More applications of AI for the health insurance industry, including “low-hanging fruit” (ways you can start using AI right now to make your job easier)
- A review of additional AI tools. We spent a lot of time on ChatGPT in the last session as well as a couple of image-creator tools and took a quick look at AgentGPT. In this session, we’ll look at some of the competitors to ChatGPT, a much better AI image-creator tool, and some other variations of AutoGPT.
- A step-by-step action list to get you started using artificial intelligence to make your life easier. With so many AI tools being developed and so many news stories about the pros and cons, we know it can seem overwhelming, so this list should help you get started without feeling lost.
- Additional resources so you can continue your learning after the class.

I hope that you’re able to join us. I truly believe that Artificial Intelligence will be a huge disruptor in the health insurance industry (and in most industries). The sooner you get on board and start learning about it, the sooner you can put it to use — it will make you more productive and help you sell more business. On the other hand, if you wait too long, you do risk falling behind and losing clients to agents who are embracing this new technology.
